STARFISH DIVER 1 is a state of the art Tornado 6.5m Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB). The vessel is powered by a Mercury 200hp Optimax outboard (new 2004). She is equipped with liferaft, lifejackets, Perry Buoys with lights and sea drogues, DAN Oxygen Kit, first aid kit, drinking water, flares, Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon (EPIRB), VHF radios, Global Positioning System (GPS), Echo Sounder, 10 man bottle rack, plus numerous additional safety features. Starfish Diver 1 is Marine Safety Agency licensed for 12 persons (including skipper), Category 3 – 20 miles from a safe haven by day and night in favourable sea conditions.
