Rebreathers
The aim of the development of the SCR 100 ST Rebreather
was to offer a safe and easy in handling Rebreather in
reliable technology to sport divers. In a simplified form
the developments of the SUBMATIX SCR 100 XT and the SCR
100 KISS style are flown into the SCR 100 ST. While this
development the safety and the simplicity in service were
the most important things. The new SUBMATIX SCR 100 ST
Rebreather offers the ambitious sport diver the reliable
SUBMATIX technology to make with nitrox safe sport dives
to a depth of 40 metres. Through the use of corresponding
nitrox mixes the diver has many advantages, p. ex. longer
dives, longer cero times and a gas consumption, which
is independent from the depth. While the chemical absorption
of carbon dioxide water develops and because of this the
diver breathes humid and warm air. Therefore, the diver
less chills through and the dehydration will be reduced
substantial.
Pro Rebreather:
- longer dives with longer cero times (safer dives)
- warm and humid breathing gas (smaller loss of warmth
and less dehydration)
- no permanent bubble noises (more fish) - buoyancy
(through no necessity of typical lung buoyancy the diver
has a more stable position in water because of no ups
and downs in movement– better photos are possible)
- other breathing (the breathing of a normal sport
diver is orientated to safe air, the rebreather divers
stock of air is unrestricted and independent to the
depth, the consumption is determined by the constant
flow nozzle and the respond of the overpressure valve)
